Michelle Latimer

Michelle Latimer is the showrunner, director, and writer of the Viceland breakout series “RISE,” which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Festival. A Toronto-based filmmaker, showrunner/producer, actor, and activist, her films have screened at film festivals internationally including: Sundance, TIFF, Rotterdam, Oberhausen, and Cannes. She has programmed for ImagineNATIVE, Hot Docs Film Festival, and the Dawson City International Short Film Festival.
