Misha Glenny is a former BBC Central Europe Correspondent and the author of several books. His latest, Nemesis: One Man and the Battle for Rio, charts the rise and fall of Nem da Rocinha. An earlier book, McMafia, will be broadcast next year as a major television drama series.
