Noam Chomsky is an internationally acclaimed scholar and political activist, known for his work in the fields of linguistics, politics, mass media, and history. He is the author of several books, most recently “Hegemony or Survival: America’s Quest for Global Dominance” and “Failed States: The Abuse of Power and the Assault on Democracy.” Chomsky is a laureate professor of linguistics at the University of Arizona. He lives in Tucson, Arizona.
