Seth Harp

Seth Harp is an investigative journalist, foreign correspondent, and magazine writer who has reported from Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, Mexico, and elsewhere for publications including Rolling Stone, Harper’s Magazine, the New Yorker, the New York Times, the Daily Beast, and Columbia Journalism Review. He is a veteran of the Iraq War, and before becoming a journalist was an assistant attorney general for the state of Texas. In 2019, he was selected as a fellow in nonfiction literature at MacDowell. He lives in Austin, Texas.
